The proletariat seeks it as a tool
And men like Stalin and Eisenhower
Lust for jewels can be an atrocity
Yet their beauty remains as an etenal Flower.

Are we sure that gold is evolution?
Or is it the requiem of a dream?
The prominent few will always plot & scheme-
The downtrodden masses scream revolution.
Elites proclaim wealth as the solution,
Yet the underlings continue their scream.

There is lust in our sacred institution-
Scores of men die for diamond’s luster,
Yet we chase it almost like a scorned lover.
